Growing up, I was lucky enough to have a pretty high metabolism. I, of course, worried about everything else which I now know was not worth the time, but none-the-less, I didn’t have to worry about my weight, or what I was eating. I did stay active, playing softball growing up, then tennis, and as I got older would visit the gym frequently. I remember feeling miserable most of the time, home sick a lot from school, and I had kidney stones develop in my early twenties. I couldn’t imagine, at the time, why all of this was happening?! I also ate a lot of crap food, mostly cheeseburgers from fast-food joints, and lots of soda. Now I know why I was feeling so bad…it was all the junk I was consuming!! No amount of exercise or water would have made me feel better. I wish someone would’ve told me all this years ago. I now know how to eat well, healthy, clean (80% of the time), and want to share what I know, and what I’m still learning, with all of you!
